This summer, Socratic School of STEM will offer six immersive camps designed for curious learners who love to ask questions, build ideas, and solve real problems.

Each camp is grounded in the SSS approach to learning. Campers engage in hands-on STEM challenges, design cycles, and collaborative projects where they plan, build, test, revise, and reflect. Learning is active, purposeful, and driven by curiosity rather than worksheets or passive instruction.

Guided by experienced educators, learners practice critical thinking, creativity, and perseverance while developing confidence with tools, systems, and ideas. Camps are intentionally designed to balance structure with exploration, independence with teamwork, and challenge with support.

SSS Summer STEM Camps offer a meaningful introduction to our Scholar’s Path:

Camps are open to both current and prospective families and are ideal for learners who enjoy thinking deeply, building boldly, and learning by doing.

STEM ENGINEERING CAMPS

Full-Day ($285 PER WEEK FOR GRADES K-6 from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm)

Morning STEM ($185 PER WEEK FOR GRADES K-6 from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm)

Flights

Campers explore the science of flight by designing, building, and testing flying prototypes while using the engineering process to improve performance and think like real-world innovators.

 

6/29/26 - 7/3/26

Rockets & Rovers

Campers explore motion and space engineering by designing, launching, and testing rockets and rovers while applying the engineering design process to solve challenges like real-world aerospace innovators.

 

7/13/25 - 7/17/26

Racers

Campers design and build high-performance racers from recycled materials while exploring forces like friction and aerodynamics and using the engineering process to improve speed and performance.

 

ROBOTICS & CODING CAMPS

Robotics & Coding:

Combat & Strategy Olympics

Campers will design and program robots capable of going head-to-head against their peers every day. Using block-based coding and LEGO robotics kits, they will combine creative strategies and iterative coding skills to gain the edge over their fellow competitors in daily challenges. No prior coding experience is needed.

 

7/6/25 - 7/10/26

Robotics & Coding: 

Precision & Control Olympics

Campers will have their creativity put to the test as they must devise a new solution to a precision challenge every single day. Instead of battling against each other head-on, campers must ensure that their robot is the most consistent and accurate to gain an advantage over their fellow competitors. Using block-based coding and LEGO robotics kits, campers will strive to complete each challenge as quickly and efficiently as possible. No prior coding experience is needed.

 

7/20/25 - 7/24/26

Robotics & Coding:

Robot Challenge Week                

Campers will work as a team to tackle a multi-mission challenge built and refined across an entire week. Modeled after real competitive robotics tournaments, campers will use block-based coding and LEGO robotics kits to strategize, iterate, and optimize their robots to score as many points as possible. Campers will leave knowing what it truly takes to compete. No prior coding experience is needed.
