Innovators (Grades 6-8)

Socratic School of STEM Virtual Reality

The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new

Middle School | Grades 6–8

Innovators deepen academic rigor and responsibility. Learning is project based and inquiry driven, supported by adaptive programs that allow learners to progress based on readiness rather than age.

Learners engage in complex problems, design cycles, research, and Socratic discussions.  They are expected to manage longer work cycles, revise work thoughtfully, and defend ideas with evidence.

Socrates the Owl is Socratic School of STEM's official mascot

Innovators learn to:

  • Think critically across disciplines

  • Apply logic, data, and experimentation

  • Collaborate effectively while maintaining individual accountability

  • Reflect on strengths, challenges, and growth

This stage prepares learners for advanced academic work and increasing independence.
