Founders (Grades K-2)

The Founders level is grounded in a Montessori-inspired environment that builds the foundations of learning and character.

At this stage, children develop independence, concentration, coordination, and confidence through hands-on materials, carefully prepared environments, and uninterrupted work cycles. Learning emphasizes early literacy, numeracy, language development, and executive function alongside grace, courtesy, and community responsibility.

Founders learn to:

  • Choose purposeful work and complete it with care

  • Build strong foundations in reading, writing, and mathematics

  • Develop focus, persistence, and self regulation

  • Practice responsibility for themselves, others, and the environment

The Founders stage establishes the habits and mindset that support lifelong learning.
